Imran Maniar resigns as Sui Southern Gas Company CEO, MD

September 03, 2024 (MLN): Imran Maniar has resigned from the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) to pursue other opportunities.

SSGC shared the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.

"Please be informed that an emergent meeting of the board of directors of SSGC was held on Monday, September 02, 2024, at 4:00pm to consider the resignation submitted by lmran Maniar from the position of MD / CEO," reads the notice.

"The board, with the utmost respect for Maniar's decision to pursue other opportunities, accepted his resignation," it added.

It said that the board acknowledged Maniar's significant contributions to SSGC during his tenure and expressed its gratitude for his dedicated services.

Maniar's final day with the company would be September 13, 2024, the notice added.
