HUBCO to increase its shareholding in China Power Hub Power Generation to 47.5%

December 27, 2018 (MLN): The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO) has announced that it has agreed the valuation with China Power International Pakistan Investment Limited (CPIPIL), and now it intends to increase its shareholding in China Power Hub Power Generation Company (Private) Limited (CPHGC), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hub Power Holdings Limited, from 26% to 47.5%.

The increase in shareholding will be subject to corporate and regulatory approvals in China and Pakistan, the notification issued to PSX by the company informed on Thursday.

CPHGC is a joint venture between HUBCO and CPIPIL to set-up a 2x660MW imported coal-based Power Plant at Hub, Balochistan.
