Hubco announces Rs15.5 dividend

October 3, 2022 (MLN): The Hub Power Company Ltd (Hubco) announced an interim cash dividend of Rs15.5 per share for the year ending June 30, 2023, company’s stock filing on the PSX showed.

“This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of Hubco in their meeting held on Monday … has approved an Interim cash dividend for the year ending June 30, 2023 at Rs15.50 per share, that is, 155%,” the press release added.

The share transfer books of Hubo will be closed from October 13, 2022 to October 17, 2022 (both days inclusive), the notice added.

The company is expected to announce financial results for the year 2022 in then next week.

This dividend of Rs15.5 is the first interim dividend for the year 2023.

So far as of 11:30am, around 30 million shares of the company have been traded with the scrip hitting upper lock by gaining 7.5% to trade at Rs75.15/share.
