Bunny’s starts bread production in Islamabad

July 03, 2025 (MLN): Bunny’s Limited (PSX: BUNNY) has officially commenced commercial operations at its newly installed bread production line in Islamabad’s I-9 Industrial Area, marking a strategic expansion into northern Pakistan.

According to a material disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the new facility has completed successful trial runs and is now operational.

The installed capacity of the Islamabad line is approximately 25% of the company’s existing bread production capacity in Lahore.

The expansion is part of Bunny’s broader plan to strengthen its distribution footprint across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and other northern regions. The company will utilize a network of warehouses in key cities to streamline supply and meet growing demand.

Management expressed optimism that the new production line will enhance overall profitability by tapping into underserved markets and improving logistical efficiency.

“This move reflects our commitment to growth and our confidence in the region’s potential,” the company stated.

The development follows earlier communications regarding the project and aligns with Bunny’s strategy to scale operations while maintaining product quality and brand presence.
