Honda Atlas Cars Limited profits rise by 5.86 percent to Rs. 6.494 billion

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HCAR) today announced financial results for the twelve months period ending 31 March, 2018 reporting Sales at Rs. 91.522 billion; up 45.73 percent from same period last year. Furthermore, the company’s Gross Profit rose to Rs. 10.449 billion from Rs. 9.121 billion last year during the outgoing twelve months.

On the expenses front, HCAR reported 69.07 percent increase in Distribution and Marketing Costs, 36.26 percent increase in Administrative Expenses, whereas, Other Operating Expenses incurred by the company went up by 131.54 percent during the period.

Furthermore, HCAR also reported a 68.85 percent increase in Other Income reaching Rs. 1.883 billion during the outgoing twelve months.

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited reported profit after taxation at Rs. 6.494 billion against Rs. 6.134 billion during the same period last year translating into an EPS of Rs. 45.48 vs. an EPS of Rs. 42.96 during the twelve months ending March, 2017.

In addition to the above, the car manufacturer declared a cash dividend of Rs. 22.75 per share i.e. 227.5 percent.
