Hallmark Company backtracks on name change, original name prevails

November 07, 2023 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Hallmark Company Limited (PSX: HCL) has unanimously resolved that the previously approved decision to change the company's name is hereby rescinded, HCL’s filing on local bourse revealed today.

The company shall continue to operate under its current name, "Hallmark Company Limited" and all relevant records and documents will be updated.

Accordingly subject to shareholders' approval in the upcoming General Meeting in accordance with the Companies Act, 2017 and other ancillary laws for the time being enforced.

To recall, during the company's BoD meeting on August 15, 2023, it was decided to change the company's name to 'Supernet Technologies Limited.'

At the time of writing, the company's share is being traded at Rs116.26, up by 8.32 rupees or 7.5% compared to its previous close.
