GTYR firmly affirms adherence to regulatory compliance amid allegations

August 23, 2023 (MLN): While refuting the recent allegations, the management of Ghandhara Tyre & Rubber Company Limited (GTYR) on Wednesday said that it always adhered to all the compliance and regulatory framework applicable to its business enterprise.

Further, GTR prides itself on adhering to and maintaining the highest quality standards. The company manufactures tyres according to standards set by international bodies such as European Tire and  Rim  Technical  Organization ("ETRTO"),  Japan Automobile  Tyre Manufacturers Association Inc. ("JATMA") and Tire and Rim Association Inc. ("TRA"), USA.

"At the plant, we follow practices as set by Continental AG Germany, our technology partner. The company has an Iso obtained E-Marking for its tyres and is ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certified," the notice issued to PSX reads.

The management further warned that it reserves its right to challenge the varsity of the said content before the appropriate forum, to safeguard the interests of the company and its members.
