Govt raises 'Diyat' value to Rs8.1m

October 04, 2024 (MLN): Considering the increase in the silver rate, the federal government has increased the 'Diyat' value by Rs1.346 million.

According to a recent notification from the Ministry of Finance, the 'Diyat' amount will now reflect the value of 30,630 grams of silver will be Rs8.103m for the financial year 2024-2025.

This notification was issued by the ministry on October 2, 2024.
