Govt likely to cut PSDP by Rs300bn

February 07, 2023 (MLN): The federal government is likely to cut the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) by Rs300 billion in the current fiscal year.

To comply with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) conditions, the government has decided to improve revenue collection and control spending.

Furthermore, the government is planning to curb the fiscal deficit to stabilize the economic conditions.
