Govt keeps petrol, diesel prices unchanged

December 31, 2023 (MLN): The government has decided to keep the price of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) unchanged at Rs267.34 and Rs276.21 per litre, respectively, said a notification issued by the Finance Division.
The said prices will remain effective till January 15, 2024.
In the previous fortnight, the government had reduced the petrol and diesel prices by Rs14 and Rs13.5 per litre against the backdrop of noteworthy decrease in international oil prices.
