Govt ensures efficient and timely completion of Gwadar Expressway project

November 14, 2018: Senator Kauda Babar has stated that the Gwadar Expressway would be completed with efficacy, since the incumbent government has direct coordination with the Chinese companies that are implementing the project.

After convening a sub-committee of Senate Standing Committee on Maritime Affairs he said that earlier, the progress of the project was sluggish due to lack of interest of the former government.

He pointed out that the present the government has maintained direct linkages with the Chinese companies and stakeholders involved in the development projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor for swift completion of the projects in Balochistan.

"All stakeholders are on board with better coordination, and projects would not only be completed on time but with enhanced and efficient approach," he remarked.
