Govt dismisses doubts over circular debt plans, expects further progress next week

February 11, 2024 (MLN): The government has dismissed the negative perception being created regarding the Circular Debt Reduction and Tariff Rationalization Plans, stated the petroleum division of the Ministry of Energy.

It said that it had productive deliberations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) after which additional information has been shared.

The government said further progress on these plans is expected in the coming week.
