Govt determined to pull non-tax payers and informal sectors in documented economy

March 5, 2019 (MLN): In another effort to rope-in non tax payers and informal sectors in the documented economy, Prime Minister Imran Khan invited the Business Community leaders to give their input and recommendations and to devise a comprehensive plan to encourage them.

The Prime Minister said that after overcoming the most difficult challenge of stabilizing economy during first six months of coming into power, the focus is now on promotion of growth of economy.

He informed that there is positive sentiment among the international community towards economy of the country which needs to be capitalized.

Agreeing with the Prime Minister, the Business Community leaders expressed complete confidence over the policies of the Government and the steps being taken to reduce cost of businesses and improving ease of doing business in the country.

President OICCI also briefed the Prime Minister about the plans to hold international investment conference which would highlight Pakistan’s economic potential before the international community.
