Govt determined to establish four economic zones: Asad Umar

January 14, 2020 (MLN): Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar says PTI government is determined to establish four economic zones in all provinces.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that feasibility for ML-1 project has been prepared and some nine billion dollars would be spent to improve the railway system.

He said the social protection division is functioning to improve the life style of the poor and 192 billion rupees have been allocated to carry out “Ehsaas” programme, for deserving and poor families.

He said at least 190 shelter homes with provision of food have been established in different parts of the country for the poor.
