Government sanctions Rs.2.5 billion subsidy to SNGP

December 17, 2018 (MLN): The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi has sanctioned a payment of Rs.2.515 billion on account of subsidy to M/s Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, for Gas/RLNG supply to industrial sector (Exporters of five Zero-Rated sectors, namely: Textile (including jute), Carpets, Leather, Sports and Surgical Goods) for the period October 16, 2018 to November 30, 2018 for financial year 2018-19.

As per an official press release by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Finance division has approved supplementary grant of Rs.25.749 billion to the Ministry of energy (Petroleum Division), in favor of M/s Sui Northern Ga Pipelines.
