Government policies driving economic improvement: Ahsan Iqbal

March 04, 2025 (MLN): The country's economy is improving due to successful government policies, said Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal.

Speaking at a ceremony in Narowal, he stated that inflation and bank interest rates have significantly declined, while the stock market is performing exceptionally well.

Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that through the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ program, the government aims to transform Pakistan into a one trillion dollar economy by 2035, as per the press release.

He emphasized that the objective of the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ program is to build a strong and sustainable economic foundation for the country.
