Government accords approval for reconstruction of Raikot-Thakot section of KKH

The Federal Government has approved reconstruction of Raikot-Thakot section of the Karakoram Highway under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Official sources told Radio Pakistan that 280 km long road will be completed at a cost of more than Rs 8 billion within three years.
Upon completion, it will boost trade and economic activities in Hazara division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
