Gold rises by Rs100 to settle at Rs104,100 per tola

April 22, 2021 (MLN): Yellow metal inched up today in domestic bullion as per tola price of 24 karat gold marked an increase of Rs100 to close at Rs104,100 against its yesterday’s sale at Rs104,000.

According to Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also witnessed a rise of Rs86 and was traded at Rs89,249 while 10-gram 22 karat gold valued at Rs81,811.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat per tola silver and that of 10-gram silver remained static at Rs1,350 and Rs1,157.40 respectively

Following the weaker dollar rates and lower bond yields, gold prices in the international market went up by $5 to $1,786 per ounce, while silver was valued at $26.35, up by $0.43 compared to yesterday’s close.
