Gold rates further escalate by Rs550 to close at Rs108,850

June 21, 2021(MLN): The price of gold jumped by Rs550 today in the domestic bullion market, as the price of 24 karat gold close at Rs108,850 per tola against the price of Rs108,300per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs471 and was sold for Rs93,321 at the closing of trade while the price of 10gm 22k gold stood at Rs85,544.

However, silver rates remained stagnant at Rs1,420 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver stood the same at Rs1,217.42.

The demand for yellow metal witnessed a decline in the international market as the price of gold moved down by $9 and traded at $1,783 per ounce against $1,792 per ounce recorded yesterday, while silver was valued at $26 an ounce.
