Gold prices rebound after 3-day fall

February 16, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices rebounded on Tuesday in the domestic bullion market, as the price of a single tola of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs 150 and was sold for Rs 111,200 against the price of Rs 111,050 reported in the previous session.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold also witnessed an increase of Rs 129 to settle at Rs 95,336 against the previous close of Rs 95,207, data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association revealed.

Whereas, the price of 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver remained static at Rs 1,380 and Rs 1,183.12 respectively.

In the International market, a weaker US dollar supported precious metal, as the price of gold inched up by USD 3 and was traded at USD 1,823 an ounce against USD 1,820 an ounce in the last session, while silver was valued at 27.67 an ounce, the association reported.
