Gold price rises by Rs 50 per tola on Monday

March 1, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates followed an upward trajectory on Monday as the per tola price of 24 karat gold in the domestic bullion market surged by Rs 50 and was sold at Rs 108,250 against the sale at Rs 108,200 reported previously.

Likewise, 10-grams of 24 karat gold witnessed an increase of Rs 43 and settled at Rs 92,807 as opposed to the previous close of Rs 92,764, data provided by All Sindh Sarah Jewellers Association revealed on Monday.

On the contrary, the per tola price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram silver remained static at Rs 1,380 and Rs 1,183.12, respectively.  

In the international market, gold price increased by USD 9 and was available at USD 1,743 per ounce against USD 1,734 an ounce in the previous session, while silver was valued at Rs 26.80 an ounce, the association reported.
