Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs700 per tola

December 03, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs275,200 per tola, up Rs700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs235,940 after a gain of Rs600, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs216,278 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,915 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,646 an ounce, up $4.1 or 0.16% from the previous session, supported by U.S. rate cut bets and geopolitical concerns.
