Gold slips Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

May 29, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs474,862 per tola, down Rs500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs407,117 after a decline of Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs373,204 per 10-gram, down Rs393.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs8,034 per tola (-Rs83) and Rs6,887 per 10-gram (-Rs72).

Global gold prices edged higher as uncertainty over a proposed U.S.-Iran ceasefire deal boosted safe-haven demand despite persistent concerns over elevated U.S. interest rates.
