Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs700 per tola

November 04, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs283,700 per tola, up Rs700.

On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,740 an ounce, up $1.6 or 0.06% from the previous session.

According to a Bloomberg MLIV Pulse survey released last week, gold will continue to rally if Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump wins the White House, but it will retreat if Vice President Kamala Harris takes over.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs243,227 per 10-gram, up Rs600.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted higher at Rs222,958 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,430 per tola (-Rs0) and Rs2,941 per 10-gram (-Rs0).
