Gold takes a Rs2,000 per tola hit

July 31, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs353,000 per tola, down Rs2,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs302,641 after a decline of Rs1,714, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs277,421 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,900 per tola (-Rs63) and Rs3,344 per 10-gram (-Rs53).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,305 an ounce, up $20.2 or 0.61% from the previous session.

Gold price rose more on Thursday, moving away from the one-month low it touched in the previous session, as a pullback in the dollar and fresh U.S. tariff announcements lifted demand for the safe-haven asset.
