Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs3,500 per tola

May 23, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs351,000 per tola, up Rs3,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs300,925 after a gain of Rs3,000, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs275,857 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,466 per tola (+Rs38) and Rs2,971 per 10-gram (+Rs43).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,329 an ounce, up $29.8 or 0.90% from the previous session.

Gold prices rose on Friday and were on track for their best week in six, boosted by a weaker dollar and as worries over the United States' worsening fiscal health sent investors towards safe-haven bullion.
