January 03, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs276,900 per tola, up Rs2,200.
Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs237,397 after a gain of Rs1,886, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs217,614 per 10-gram.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,350 per tola and Rs2,872 per 10-gram.

Gold prices dipped in thin trade on Friday as traders awaited fresh catalysts, including next week's U.S. economic data, which could influence the Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook for 2025, as well as policies from incoming President Donald Trump.
