Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs200 per tola

February 03, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs292,400 per tola, up Rs200.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs250,685 after a gain of Rs171, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs229,802 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,265 per tola (-Rs5) and Rs2,799 per 10-gram (-Rs4).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,801 an ounce, up $8.9 or 0.32% from the previous session.

Gold prices erased early losses on Monday to remain close to record highs on safe-haven demand driven by growth and inflation concerns sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China.
