SCRA balance falls by Rs82m during week

April 16, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.81.91 million during the week ending Apr 10, 2026 to close at Rs.30.05 bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.5.98bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.30.44 bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs.16.02bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.13.45bn while dividend received was Rs.976million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.30.52bn. Outward remittances were Rs.11.05 bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.19.43bn and total tax paid was Rs.43.33 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.57.863bn, Rs.-1.77bn and Rs.72.8million to close at Rs.628.54bn, Rs.54.43bn and Rs.27.127bn.
