Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs800 per tola

December 24, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs272,600 per tola, down Rs800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs233,711 after a decline of Rs685, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs214,235 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,350 per tola and Rs2,872 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,616 an ounce, up $1.4 or 0.06% from the previous session.

Gold prices gained in quiet holiday-period trading on Tuesday, while investor focus was on the Federal Reserve's rate strategy for next year and Trump's future tariff policies.
