Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs750 per tola

January 23, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs286,700 per tola, down Rs750.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs245,799 after a decline of Rs641, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs225,323 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,401 per tola (-Rs30) and Rs2,915 per 10-gram (-Rs26).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,746 an ounce, down $8.9 or 0.32% from the previous session.

Gold prices were little changed on Thursday, as market participants awaited further clarity on policies from U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.
