December 19, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs273,300 per tola, down Rs2,600.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs234,311 after a decline of Rs2,229, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs214,785 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,350 per tola (-Rs50) and Rs2,872 per 10-gram (-Rs43).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,620 an ounce, up $32.1 or 1.24% from the previous session.
Gold continues to experience downward pressure for the fourth consecutive trading session, with the most active February futures contract.
