Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,800 per tola

May 09, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs350,900 per tola, down Rs1,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs300,840 after a decline of Rs1,543, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs275,780 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,417 per tola and Rs2,929 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,330 an ounce, up $16.9 or 0.51% from the previous session.

Gold prices rose on Friday and were headed for a weekly gain, supported by a weaker dollar and lingering geopolitical tensions, while focus remained on U.S.-China trade talks due this weekend.
