Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,300 per tola

May 02, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs344,500 per tola, down Rs1,300.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs295,353 after a decline of Rs1,114, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs270,740 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,427 per tola and Rs2,938 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,266 an ounce, up $29.6 or 0.91% from the previous session.

Gold rose on Friday on bargain-hunting ahead of U.S. non-farm payrolls report, after prices touched a two-week low in the previous session, but signs of easing U.S.-China trade tensions kept the safe-haven metal on track for its second weekly fall.
