Gold jumps by Rs250 to Rs123,650 per tola

December 6, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates rebounded on Monday as the 24-karat gold was sold at Rs123,650, showing an uptick of Rs250 per tola, according to data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association today.

The price of 10-gram of 24k gold also edged higher by Rs214 and was traded at Rs106,010 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs97,176.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,460 and Rs1,251.71 respectively.

Meanwhile, the gold prices in the international market fell slightly by $4 per ounce and traded at $1,780, on the back of higher dollar index, raising gold’s cost for buyers holding other currencies.
