Gold falls by Rs 400 to Rs 116,100 per tola

October 14, 2020 (MLN): Gold prices plunged on Wednesday as a stronger US dollar weighed on the yellow metal. In the international market, the gold price fell by $21 and was traded at $1900, while silver stood at $24.42 an ounce.

In the domestic bullion market, the price of 24 Karat gold decreased by Rs 400 to Rs 116,100. The precious yellow metal of 24-Karat had closed at Rs 116,500 per tola on the last day.

According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a decrease of Rs 343 to settle at Rs 99,537 against the previous close of Rs 99,880 per-gram.

On the other hand, the price of silver tola and 10-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs 1,330 and Rs 1,140.26 respectively, the association reported.
