Ghandhara Tyre resumes production after maintenance

December 03, 2024 (MLN): Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited (PSX: GTYR) has resumed its production activities in accordance with its normal routine as of December 3, 2024.

GTYR informed market participants of this development through a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

To recall, on November 26, the company informed the local bourse that the company's boiler would be shut down due to planned work on the utility line at the factory.

Consequently, the company decided to temporarily suspend plant operations from Wednesday, November 27, 2024, to Monday, December 02, 2024.

As the maintenance work on the production line has been completed ahead of schedule, GTYR has resumed production.

GTYR also noted that it does not foresee this temporary halt having any adverse impact on its sales, as all regional offices will remain operational, ensuring the continued supply of tyres to customers.
