GCIL to transfer Calcium Carbide Project to Ghani ChemWorld

March 10, 2025 (MLN): Ghani Chemical Industries Limited (PSX: GCIL) to transfer the entire business and operations of the "Calcium Carbide Project" to Ghani ChemWorld Limited (GCWL).
In exchange, GCWL will allot 500 shares to GCIL shareholders for every 1,000 GCIL shares held, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.
This transaction is in accordance with the demerger/merger Scheme of Compromise, Arrangement, and Reconstruction, as sanctioned by the Lahore High Court in its order dated February 20, 2025, issued on March 7, 2025.
Additionally, designated assets of Ghani Products (Private) Limited (GPL) will be transferred to GCIL, along with other related matters.
