GATM Profits swell by 90.65% in FY22

September 30, 2022 (MLN): Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited (GATM) announced results for FY22 wherein the company declared a profit of Rs9.85 billion, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.

In the filing, the company declared a 90.65% growth in profit to Rs9.85bn as compared to Rs5.16bn in the same period last year, translating into earnings per share of Rs15.96 against Rs9.14 in FY21.

GATM’s topline shows an increase of 36.37%, to Rs122bn against Rs89bn in FY21.

The company’s gross profit was up by 55.32%, to Rs27.01bn against Rs17.39bn in FY21.

Profit-before-taxation increased to Rs11.70bn up by 88.90% compared to Rs6.19bn in the same period last year.
