September 16, 2026 (MLN): Worldcall Telecom Limited (PSX:WTL) has been placed once again in the "Non-Compliant Segment" of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), effective September 16, 2026, after the Sindh High Court dismissed the company's application seeking interim relief against the move.

Consequently, the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has also excluded WTL from the list of eligible securities under the Securities Lending & Borrowing (SLB-B) and Margin Financing (MF) systems, effective Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

According to a PSX notice, the exchange had earlier restored WTL to the Normal Counter on a temporary basis on December 2, 2025, in line with a Sindh High Court interim order dated November 21, 2025, which had restrained PSX from taking coercive action against the company pending further hearing.

However, the court, through its subsequent order dated September 11, 2026, dismissed WTL's application seeking interim relief, following which the exchange placed the scrip back in the Non-Compliant Segment under Clause 5.11.1(d) of the PSX Regulations.

The underlying non-compliance stems from WTL's failure to pay the additional listing fee applicable on the increase in its paid-up capital within the final deadline of November 20, 2025, as earlier communicated by PSX.

Under Clause 5.11.3(c) of the PSX Regulations, WTL has now been directed to rectify the non-compliance within ninety days, with the compliance deadline set at December 14, 2026.

PSX has warned that failure to do so within the stipulated period will result in further action under Clause 5.11.3(d) of the regulations.

Separately, NCCPL, in a notice to clearing members dated September 15, 2026, referencing the PSX notice, confirmed WTL's exclusion from the SLB-B and MF eligibility lists effective September 16, 2026.
