Gas supply halt in DHA, Korangi on June 23 for pipeline hook-up

June 21, 2024 (MLN): Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced today that the gas supply will be completely suspended on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 8 am to 8 pm (12 hrs duration) in DHA and Korangi.

The gas company stated that this interruption is necessary to carry out the hook-up of the newly laid 20″ diameter, 9 km gas distribution pipeline project from Azeempura to Jam Sadiq Bridge.

SSGC mentioned that the following areas will be affected:

Korangi (all sectors including industrial and domestic areas)
Defense Housing Authority (Defence View, Manzoor Colony, Akhtar Colony, Kashmir Colony, Mehmoodabad, Azam Basti, Qayyumabad, DHA Phase 2 Extension, Phase 4, Phases 5 and 5 Extension, Phases 7 and 7 Extension and Phase 8 including Creek Vista and Emmar Giga.
