Flour price surge by 74% in Shahbaz governance

December 26, 2022 (MLN): The price of flour mills has reached to its all-time high of Rs125 per Kilogam (kg), registering an increase of 74% since the day when Shahbaz government held the reins of economy.
Similarly, price of Kernal Basmati price increased by 55% to Rs350 per kg, and other varieties of rice jumped by 60% to 140%.
On the other hand, the prices of sugar, ghee, and edible oil remain unchanged at Rs90 per kg, Rs250 per kg, and 540 per kg, respectively.
To note, the price of ghee and edible reversed during the period from Rs 600 per kg/litre.
