Federal Judicial academy hosts 1st professional course for SECP officers

May 22, 2024 (MLN): The first-ever four-day Professional Development Course for officers of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan was launched at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, says the press releases issued on Tuesday.

Areas of Training and distinguished Speakers/ Resource persons:-

1. Scope of Company Law and Role of SECP- Jurisprudential Discourse with Hon’ble Mr. Jawad Hassan, Judge, Lahore High Court

2. Powers to Inspect and Investigate- Jurisprudential Discourse with Hon’ble Mr. Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed, Judge, High Court of Sindh

3. Jurisprudential Discourse with Hon’ble Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan, Judge, Islamabad High Court.

The faculty members of the Academy, among others, will also enlighten the 30 officers- Executive Director, Director, Additional Directors, Additional Joint Directors, Deputy Director, Assistant Directors, Management Executive- hailing from different sections of the SECP such as Adjudication, Supervision, Prosecution and Legal Affairs and Appellate Bench on a variety of topics.
