FED raises interest rates by 25 basis points

The U.S Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by 25 basis points to a range of 2.25 percent to 2.50 percent.
The fourth rate hike of 2018 was in line with market expectations.
However, the Fed has forecasted fewer rate hikes next year in the face of financial markets volatility and a slowdown in global growth.
