FBR starts sending notices after tax amnesty scheme expiry

The Federal Bureau of Revenue has started sending notices to those who did not avail the tax amnesty scheme after it's expiry on July 31, 2018.

FBR is receiving data of assets and property from foreign countries of Pakistanis living abroad who have not declared their assets and properties.

Initially the data will be compiled from England then Dubai and then Pakistanis having assets abroad will get notices.

According to information available, six hundred people have already been served notices in Britain.

People holding assets in Dubai will soon get notices as well.

So far, the FBR has been collecting data of assets held abroad from England and Dubai.
