FBR extends date for filing tax returns to March 31, 2019

March 15, 2019 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has further extended the date for filing income tax returns/statements for the tax year 2018, to March 31, 2019, revealed an official notification issued by the Board.

The initial due date for filing of returns on total income /statement of final taxation, was August 31, 2018 and was extended up to December 15, 2018.

Similarly, the due date for companies, individuals and association of persons which was initially September 30, 2018 and later extended to December 15, 2018, has also been further extended to March 31, 2019.

In addition to this, the due date for companies which were due to file returns on December 31, 2018, has been extended to March 31,2019 as well.
