EFERT shuts down fertilizer plant from 24 November till 18 January

November 23, 2022 (MLN): Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) has temporarily shut down the fertilizer plant at Port Qasim from November 24, 2022, to January 18, 2023 (both days inclusive) to more efficiently manage its inventory and production, the company filing on PSX showed today.
"Notwithstanding the temporary closure, the Company intends to meet the projected demand for the products manufactured at the Plant," the notification read further.
It is pertinent to mention that the plant produces specialty fertilizers with an annual capacity of around 150 KT.
