Engro Fertilizer shuts down plant at Port Qasim

June 02, 2023 (MLN): Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) has decided to completely shut down its Plant from June 5 to June 30, 2023, a notice issued by the company to PSX on Friday showed.

The plant is situated at Port Qasim and produces specialty fertilizers with an annual 150-kiloton (KT) capacity.

This shutdown is aimed at more effectively managing company inventory and production.

Despite the temporary closure, the company intends to meet the projected demand for the products manufactured at the plant.
