Electricity bills may drop! K-Electric moves for price reduction

March 13, 2025 (MLN): Karachi's electricity prices may see a reduction as K-Electric has submitted its request for the monthly adjustment of January 2025 to NEPRA.

K-Electric has requested a reduction of Rs4.84 per unit in the January adjustment.

According to K-Electric’s request, this reduction amounts to Rs4.69 billion, as stated by NEPRA.

NEPRA will hold a hearing on March 20 to review K-Electric’s request for the January adjustment.
