ECC to discuss quarterly adjustments of K-Electric from Jul’16 to Mar’19

March 4, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, i.e. March 4, 2020, at Cabinet Division, wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed:

Decision dated Dec 31, 2019 of the authority in the matter of quarterly adjustments of K-Electric for the period from July 2016 to March 2019
Technical supplementary grant for the Strategic Policy Planning Cell (SPPC) for Rs 15 million for the FY20
Enhancement of Home Remittance through formal channels
Allocation of gas to SSGC and provision Tight Gas Price Incentive for Rehman-4 Well in Kirthan Block
Subsidy for agricultural tube well consumers in Baluchistan- 2019-20
Revival of Tuwairqi Steel Mills Limited (TSML), a Director Reduced Iron (DRI) unit
Allocation of Technical Supplementary Grant for internal security duty allowances to Airforce
