ECC to discuss quarterly adjustments of K-Electric from Jul’16 to Mar’19

March 4, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, i.e. March 4, 2020, at Cabinet Division, wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed:

• Decision dated Dec 31, 2019 of the authority in the matter of quarterly adjustments of K-Electric for the period from July 2016 to March 2019

• Technical supplementary grant for the Strategic Policy Planning Cell (SPPC) for Rs 15 million for the FY20

• Enhancement of Home Remittance through formal channels

• Allocation of gas to SSGC and provision Tight Gas Price Incentive for Rehman-4 Well in Kirthan Block

• Subsidy for agricultural tube well consumers in Baluchistan- 2019-20

• Revival of Tuwairqi Steel Mills Limited (TSML), a Director Reduced Iron (DRI) unit

• Allocation of Technical Supplementary Grant for internal security duty allowances to Airforce
